These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the condensr web application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by condensr ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
condensr is an AI-powered video summarization platform. The Service allows you to submit video URLs from supported platforms, and we generate text transcriptions, summaries, key quotes, and related content using automated processing and artificial intelligence. You may also interact with summaries through AI-powered chat.
To use the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process the video content you submit. condensr processes publicly available video content at the URL you provide. We do not host, redistribute, or publicly display the original video or audio content. Summaries are derived works generated by AI and are provided for personal, educational, or research purposes.
If you are a copyright holder and believe that content on our Service infringes your rights, please contact us at [email protected] with a description of the copyrighted work, the URL of the allegedly infringing summary, and your contact information. We will respond to valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service, including your library organization, notes, and chat history. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service.
By default, summaries you generate are public and visible in the community library to other users, without being attributed to your identity. Each summary has a privacy toggle — you may make any summary private at any time, after which it is visible only to you. You grant us the right to display any summary that is set to public.
Summaries, transcriptions, and chat responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions.
condensr is credit-based, not subscription-based. There are no recurring charges and no plans to cancel. New accounts receive a one-time signup grant of free credits. You may purchase additional credits at any time in fixed-price, one-time packs, processed through Stripe. Each purchase is a single charge — we do not store your payment method for future charges and do not bill you again without a new purchase.
Purchased credits do not expire. Free credits granted through promotions, signup bonuses, or periodic grants may expire; any expiration date is shown in your account.
All credit purchases are final. We do not provide refunds except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change credit pack prices or credit amounts at any time. Price changes apply only to purchases made after the change — credits you already own are not affected.
Video processing is metered by credits: each video consumes credits based on its length. If your credit balance is insufficient for a request, that request will be declined until you have enough credits. We also apply a daily abuse-prevention cap and a maximum video length, both the same for every account regardless of credit balance. We reserve the right to modify these limits with reasonable notice.
We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service downtime.
We depend on third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) for video access. Changes to those platforms' policies, APIs, or availability may affect the Service's functionality. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party platform changes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CONDENSR, ITS OWNER, AFFILIATES, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless condensr and its owner from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Sections 10, 11, 12, and 14.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data and summaries within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and condensr regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
